Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in television. In the year 1976, De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. Her move to Texas for the purpose of pursuing the career of an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on various acting roles in local independent films as well as global commercials. Despite small roles, she soon discovered her love to act. After 2001, she relocated into New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's soap-opera in the role of Rosa Santos. She had minor roles on JAG The Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. In 2004, she got her first big series part in the drama The Mountain. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to share the screen with some famous TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her best-known role was in Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress-TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. She was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her exceptional performance in a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She portrayed Marisol Deko, Horatio Caine's wife. She was the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. After two short episodes the show was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She was born Italian with a 10 year old younger brother called Cory. Her family was the strict, religious home of her family. Milano was just seven years old when her babysitter took Milano to a talent show. She was one of four girls chosen from thousands of hopefuls. Milano performed on TV ads as well as off Broadway shows, like the American first adaptation musical of Jane Eyre.
