Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Her most famous role was in the role of Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for acting at Preparatory school after which she moved to Ohio with her family in late 1970s. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent one semester at British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for many years prior to attempting TV and movie roles. Anna's first major part was Arden, in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. After guest appearances as a Star in several TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's, she was cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. In 2008, she was picked as Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully was the Deadwood film and other films also featured her. Gunn is also a part of the stages in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of the character Numbered Days in a four-part audio series that was released that will air in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and final break-up echoes the end of Walter White's personal life.
